Control whether teachers can view student phone numbers and email addresses by toggling the setting in Settings > Global Settings in Communications HQ.
💡Quick answers
- Can teachers view student contact information by default? It depends on your district's privacy settings — an administrator must explicitly grant or restrict this access.
- Where is this setting located? Settings > Global Settings in Communications HQ.
- How do I grant teachers access to student contact info? Select "Allow teachers to view student contact information" in Global Settings.
- How do I remove that access? Clear the "Allow teachers to view student contact information" checkbox in Global Settings.
What information can teachers access?
Just because teachers can send messages to students, does not necessarily mean that they should have access to the student's private phone numbers or email addresses. Depending on your district or school's privacy policies, you may want to add or remove teachers' ability to view student contact information.
